Tintin Bader nominated as Club Captain 2016/17

Congratulations to Tintin Bader on his appointment as Club Captain for this season.

Tintin is an exceptional athlete – tall, strong and quick – but also has excellent coordination, agility and decision-making ability. He never shirks a physical challenge and enjoys leading from the front. This is pretty much the complete package for a Rugby player, and it is not surprising that over the years he has attracted the attention of the Portuguese national team slectors, although the smart money would probably be on him one day becoming a US Eagle rather than a Portuguese lobo. Over the past decade, he has applied himself fully to his goal to reaching his potential as a Rugby player and has developed into an exceptionally bright prospect and natural leader on the field of play. Having shown admirable loyalty in rebuffing the (somewhat unscrupulous) advances of other clubs, as well as genuine qualities as an ambassador for both our Club and the JAGUARs project with Galiza, Tintin fully deserves his appointment as Club Captain.
