St. Julian's Sub-16 43 - Galiza 7
Brief match report from Pedro Gonçalves.
After a very disappointing and frustrating defeat against São Miguel the Sub 16's played their first game of the "Não Apurados" group against a very young and inexperienced team from our sister club Galiza.
In a game between future J.A.G.U.A.R.s our boys started the game really well, solid both in attack and defense. Throughout the game the team was able to score plenty of tries obtained through a very simple but effective style of play, with great interplay and involvement between our forwards and backs in open play.
I would like to highlight the fact that all selected players were used, in a total of 24 players. Some less experienced players like Leonardo Armendade and Francisco Almeida made a very positive contribution to their team's performance.
