Duarte Bacelar - Club Captain 2015-16

Duarte Bacelar has been selected as the Club Captain for the upcoming season.

Duarte Bacelar is to take on the role of Club Captain for the 2015-16 season. He began his Rugby career as a year 9 student in the Club's Sub-14 team in 2011. Clearly an accomlished athlete with a good reading of the game, Duarte has developed into a fine player and leader. Initially playing as a full back, in recent seasons he has switched to fly half, where his solid skill set and ability to read the game have made him a key man. He has shown unwavering loyalty to the Club through thick and thin, and played an important role in bonding two disparate sets of players in the JAGUARs' squad in their first season. Duarte is looking forward to his ambassadorial role and to helping pave the way for other young players to follow his lead.
