SJRC 12 31 Agrária Coimbra

Match report by Craig Monaghan

A game where pre-game distractions of Spring festival commitments and poor pre-game preparation due to our bus delay could have had an effect but did not - essentially we were beaten by a bigger and better team.   Our boys played their hearts out but were no match for this team who now top the table.  Neither our spirit, nor our effort in playing for each other, could be faulted.   Player of the Day, Jordan Monaghan, towered above the opposition in line-out takes at number 2 and put in an exceptional defensive effort.  If we had won this game we would be back on the top of the table … but it was not to be.
