(Re-)Introducing Two Very Special Ladies

Two Rugby Club mums have formally taken up key positions within the Club for the coming season.

We are delighted to announce that Giselle Nunes da Silva (above, left), mother of former player Hugo and current sub-18 player Micah, has agreed to take on the role of Club Secretary for the coming season. Giselle will be performing a variety of administrative tasks and is the first point of contact in matters concerning player registration, federation and fee payment. She will also be present at training sessions during the early part of the season and will help with matters relating to playing kit. Giselle hails from South Africa, and so loves her Rugby, and speaks fluent Portuguese and English. She can be contacted at rugby@stjulians.com and on 960381976.

Jessica Hubert (above, right) has for several years now been a Rugby Club stalwart, volunteering for just about everything under the sun. She is the mum of sub-12 Tom and sub-18 Ben and the wife of Casuals Dan. She has seen the Club grow from its infancy and has been instrumental in organising many fundraising events and convívios. She has agreed to take on the challenge of heading up our Tour Fundraising Committee in its work of ensuring that the Club continues to offer as many of our players as possible the unique experience of travelling on overseas Rugby tours.
